chinese sticky rice wrapped in bamboo leaves


Get chinese sticky rice 1 cup, red beans and bamboo leaves.


Soak them in a bowl of water overnight.


Get the soaked bamboo leaves.


Place chinese sticky rice, shiitake mushrooms, small pieces of pork belly, 2 tablespoons of soy sauce, 1 tablespoon of shaoxing rice wine, 1 pinch of pepper, 1 tablespoon of minced ginger and 1 pinch of salt.


Wrap the bamboo leaves and put in a saucepan or pot.


Then add 1 cup of water in a saucepan or pot.


Place on a stove or cooker and cook for 20 to 30 minutes.


Remove from the stove or cooker and leave to chill.


Then unwrap the bamboo leaves and serve.
